I've always wanted to get married and have kids, but it just hasn't happened for me.In a way I'm grateful, because any of the women I would could have potentially wound up with would have been completely wrong for me.Needless to say, I've been trying to make better choices when it comes to dating.I guess I'm just looking for opinions from others who might be in the same situation so I know I'm not the ONLY ONE! BUT I bet most of your friends envy you and wish they could trade places with you . People you know are going to start divorcing each other soon You're not the only one bro, I feel the same way...I had a long term girlfriend for 3 years, but she left me for one of her coworkers last August and I haven't really been able to move on since then. However, I still have a worry in the back of my head that I'll always be by myself.I mean I have a successful career, live in a nice place, all that......I still feel like I got left behind somehow when I'm with them. I have always been single, and, while I'm basically a happy person, I sometimes feel like a freak of nature when I'm in a group where everyone is married (most with children) but me.

I guess I'm just looking for opinions from others who might be in the same situation so I know I'm not the ONLY ONE! In just the past few weeks I have seen a couple in their mid 20's split only a year after they got married, and I have also seen a couple in their mid 40's announce their plans to divorce after being married since they were teenagers.

I mean I have a successful career, live in a nice place, all that......I still feel like I got left behind somehow when I'm with them.

I'm not even sure why I'm posting this, other than maybe to vent, as there is obviously no real "solution" to this issue.

There are lots of singles activity groups out there for people in their 40's and 50's.

Or, if you prefer, hang out with people like me (late 20's, single, never married, no children) and you can feel young again!
